Jared has a Special Birthday

Because we are so far away from Jared's family, I was concerned that he wasn't going to get the full affects of an over-the-hill birthday party.  So I made him an over the hill cake complete with tombstones and grim reaper, and a goody basket filled with all sorts of over-the-hill goodies!  ;)

Playing at the Park

Before we moved into our new house we were stuck in the hotel for a long time.  The kids were getting super antsy but the weather on some of the days was too chilly to get out and do much.  One of the days, in fact, there was an ice storm which closed the roads and iced our car shut!  

On one of the days when the weather was a bit warmer we took the kids for a picnic in the park.  The kids were ecstatically happy to get out and run around.

Winter Fun

I am not sure if this was the first snow storm last winter or the last snow storm, but these are indeed the last snow pictures that I have of the kids in Utah.  No more snow!....unless it does, by miracle, snow here.  But the kids made the most of last winter, however, and spent a great deal of time outside building snowmen, sledding, and having snowball fights.  Good Times.  :)

Christopher's Christmas Play

Christopher had a fun time in preschool this year.  For his Christmas program he was the wise man in a nativity play and then he sang songs in the group dressed as a reindeer.  It was super cute.
